Bringing Le Havre’s blue economy stakeholders together

The first Atlantic Bridges Local Stakeholder Group workshop in Le Havre brought together 17 participants from across the local blue economy, including representatives from businesses, civil society, public institutions, research and education. Held at EM Normandie Business School, the workshop focused on the relationship between the city, the port and the economic, social and environmental transitions shaping the future of Le Havre’s blue economy.

Through individual reflection, small-group discussions and collective mapping, participants explored the local context and identified the main challenges associated with the three dimensions of the transition. They then worked on defining local priorities, identifying relevant stakeholders and proposing sustainability indicators, before outlining the main steps needed to move forward. The results of this first workshop will feed into the next stage of the Atlantic Bridges process, dedicated to reviewing and selecting key indicators.
