Thematic Experts Group

The Project’s Thematic Experts Groups

What is the Thematic Experts Group (TEG) ?

The Thematic Experts Group (TEG) is a dedicated body bringing together recognised specialists in the key fields addressed by ATLANTIC BRIDGES, including sustainable urban planning, port-city integration, environmental transition, economic resilience and social innovation. It is composed of researchers, academics, technical experts and experienced practitioners with strong knowledge of Atlantic coastal territories and of the challenges linked to the triple transition.

The group is designed to combine scientific insight with operational experience, ensuring that the project benefits from both conceptual depth and practical understanding. Its members are selected for their expertise, credibility and capacity to provide informed and independent input throughout the project’s lifecycle.

Its role, objectives and added value

The TEG plays a central role in strengthening the quality and coherence of the project’s outputs. It supports the development of the strategic framework, contributes to methodological choices and provides critical feedback on the proposed tools and action plans.

Beyond technical validation, the group helps maintain a high level of ambition and consistency across territories. By bringing an external and specialised perspective, it enhances the robustness of the project’s results, supports their transferability at Atlantic scale and ensures that the solutions developed are aligned with current research, policy trends and European priorities.
